Start on a flat surface, e.g. table or windowsill. The game lid is good for compensating uneven ground. Now carefully place the spheres on top of each other. You can adjust each sphere by gently rotating it to achieve a better balance. If it gets too slippery, you can slightly moisten the flattened parts of the wood. This will give the spheres more grip.
