Who is behind MANUKAKiDS?
Hello, I'm Philipp 🙌🏼 founder of MANUKAKiDS. When I'm not working on new ideas for wooden toys, I work as a product designer in Hamburg. I design all sorts of practical objects, furniture and also technical devices. Since I love experimenting with natural materials like wood, I had the idea to develop sustainable, creative wooden toys suitable for all ages.

That's how MANUKAKiDS came about - from the idea of combining the beauty of wood with the joy of intuitive play. With great attention to detail and a clear focus on naturalness and aesthetics, we create games that delight children, adults and seniors alike.

We believe that good toys don't have to be loud & complicated. It's their simplicity that creates a special effect and encourages conscious, free play. With a clear, geometric design language, we aim to create games that are simple and also leave plenty of room for imagination and shared experiences.

Our vision is to develop mindful games that bring generations together and find their place in different areas of life. Whether in families, daycare centers, or schools, in mindfulness workshops or therapeutic contexts - our games provide moments of balance and calm while simultaneously promoting creativity, patience and concentration.
Our values
At MANUKAKiDS sustainability, naturalness, and mindfulness are at the heart of all our decisions. We use wood from sustainable forestry, which is preserved in its natural state and free from plastic or artificial additives. Our games are crafted with the utmost care in regional master workshops, resulting in long-lasting products that are consciously designed to last for generations.
Our games are CE-certified (EU toy safety standard), free from harmful substances and harmless to health. Each individual product is designed to promote calm and concentration while simultaneously inviting children to freely develop their own creativity - without rules, without sensory overload, just with the clear design language and the warm feel of wood.
The journey continues
Our journey began in 2025 with the stacking game BALLANCE. It embodies the core idea of MANUKAKiDS: a sustainable game that promotes concentration and mindfulness while connecting people of all ages. Behind the scenes, we're already working on new game ideas for children and adults.
